Any music school trip to Barcelona should include the ornate Palau de la Música Catalana and the Museu de la Música, situated within the city’s Auditori, also home to the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra.

Florence

Florence Panorama - smallBirthplace of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, not to mention the dynamic centre of the Italian Renaissance, Florence makes for a fascinating educational destination in its own right. Liverpool

New York

Prague

The city’s Estates Theatre hosted the world première of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, whilst other visits on a music school trip could include the Czech Museum of Music, Prague State Opera House or the Dvořák or Smetana Museums.

Brussels

Lille

Easily accessible from Calais or via Eurostar with plenty to see and do both in the city, students get the opportunity not only to practise their French but also to visit one of the finest operatic institutions in France.

London

Paris

A music school trip to the French capital should invariably include a visit to the Palais Garnier, Opéra Bastille or the Philharmonie de Paris, home to the Cité de la Musique and its collection of over 7,000 instruments and art objects.

Rhine & Moselle

The Rhine region has long attracted visitors from all walks of life who have marvelled at its beauty, from Byron, Turner and Mark Twain to Queen Victoria. Set on the Rhine is the former capital of West Germany, Bonn, also the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven, with monuments and memorial buildings devoted to the famous German composer dotted around the city.
