France’s 2nd largest theme park soon to celebrate its 30th birthday!

First opened to the public in May 2017, Futuroscope, France’s number two amusement park after Disneyland Paris, is preparing to celebrate its 30th birthday.

A brilliant visit for any age and designed firmly with education and fun in mind, Futuroscope caters excellently for those studying media, communication and science, with a wealth of high-tech, thrilling experiences. It’s also an excellent option for language, cross-curriculum and enrichment tours.

Futuroscope caters particularly well for those studying media, science and communication.

Based on four major themes, Futuroscope‘s attractions are designed to complement key areas of the UK National Curriculum, yet all using the latest audiovisual technologies. First up is Time Travel, with attractions ranging from cosmic collisions and a thrilling time machine ride to a 3D documentary devoted to the D-Day Landings.

Next on the list is World Unity and Diversity, where students can virtually dive down to the ocean depths of the Bahamas and Fiji, go on a simulator ride into the human body, uncover the mysteries of the unseen world and discover a day in the life of a tiny creature.

The third section is devoted to the Secrets Behind the Images, looking at how technology is combined with performance, pyrotechnics and sensory special effects to create the overall result.
