The students had a fantastic time and I had every confidence that I was being looked after at all times. I look forward to doing it all again next year! BK, Felpham Community College

France’s largest amusement park after Disneyland Paris, Futuroscope is designed firmly with education and fun in mind. A brilliant visit for any age, Futuroscope caters particularly well for those studying media, communication and science, with a wealth of high-tech, thrilling experiences that will leave students mesmerised and exhilarated.

Based on four major themes, Futuroscope’s attractions are designed to complement key areas of the UK National Curriculum, yet all using the latest audiovisual technologies. First up is Time Travel, with attractions ranging from cosmic collisions and a thrilling time machine ride to a 3D documentary devoted to the D-Day Landings.

Next on the list is World Unity and Diversity, where students can virtually dive down to the ocean depths of the Bahamas and Fiji, go on a simulator ride into the human body, uncover the mysteries of the unseen world and discover a day in the life of a tiny creature.

The third section is devoted to the Secrets Behind the Images, looking at how technology is combined with performance, pyrotechnics and sensory special effects to create the overall result.

Last but not least, Senses, Science and Experiment encourages students to discover more about themselves, other people and the world around them, through encounter with robots as well as sensory experiences and experiences.
